In-Home Family Photography across Melbourne & the Macedon Ranges

There's a message I receive more than any other before a session.
"Just so you know, our house is a bit of a mess."
And every single time I want to say the same thing: I know. And I promise you, it won't matter.
When I arrive at your home, I'm not looking at your walls.
I'm looking at your kids, who are already pulling me toward their bedroom to show me their LEGO collection or their favourite soft toy. I'm watching your family just be themselves in their own space - easy, relaxed, completely at home. Sometimes we have a cuppa first. We chat. The kids warm up. And just like that, nobody is thinking about the camera.
That's when the magic starts.

The couch where you always read together at night. The backyard where the kids disappear for hours. Your bed on a Sunday morning with a new baby tucked between you, surrounded by baby stuff and all the beautiful chaos of those early days.
That's what I'm here for. Not the perfect version of your home. The real one.
The mess you're apologising for?
It's a new baby's bassinet surrounded by tiny clothes that won't fit in another week. It's toys spread across every surface because your kids actually live here and play here and grow here. It's washing on the line and breakfast bowls still on the bench and a backyard that's more muddy than manicured.
It disappears in photos. Or it doesn't... and it becomes the whole point.
Because in ten years, you won't look at these images and wish the house had been tidier. You'll look at how small they were, the way you held them, the life you were living right in that moment... and you will feel everything.

I know how easy it is to put it off.
We are all so good at saying one day. One day when the renovation is done. When the backyard is sorted. When the kids are a bit older. When life feels a little less chaotic.
But this chapter of your life is happening right now. The home you're in, however half-finished it feels, is where your children are growing up. It's where you brought your baby home. It's where they're doing their homework at the kitchen bench, kicking the footy in the backyard, growing up faster than you can keep up with.
One day you'll move. Or renovate. Or they'll grow up and leave. And you'll wish you had pressed record.

I work with families across Melbourne and the Macedon Ranges — in real homes, in real life, exactly as it is right now.
Your home doesn't need to be ready for me. It just needs to be yours.
Let's create something beautiful together.
